Học bổng PhD cho hai sinh viên ngành Bioinformatics tại Ireland

Nhóm nghiên cứu của giáo sư Cathal Seoighe, National University of Ireland Galway, đang tìm kiếm hai sinh viên cho bậc học tiến sĩ về lĩnh vực Genomics/Computational Biology.

Thông tin về dự án:

The hosting research group works on several aspects of genomics and molecular evolution, typically developing or applying models or methods to address biological questions of interest. Recent work has included development of methods to detect genetic variants affecting germline mutation rates from haplotype data, algorithms for the analysis of deep sequencing data from the T cell receptors and immunoglobulins and the development and application of methods and computational tools to disentangle the effects of cell type composition and gene expression variation in biological samples consisting of mixtures of different cell types.

This project involves the development and application of novel statistical and computational tools for the analysis of somatic mutation processes, including sources of variation across the genome and between individuals in populations.

Sinh viên có nền tảng về Statistics/Data Science, Computer Science, hoặc Mathematics.

Thông tin tài chính:

Học bổng này được đài thọ bởi Science Foundation Ireland. Sinh viên được trả học phí và tiền stipend là €18,500 một năm.
