PGS Nick West tại School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, University of Queensland, Australia, đang tìm kiếm một sinh PhD để làm nghiên cứu về cơ chế gây bệnh của vi khuẩn lao (tuberculosis). Dự án nhằm tìm hiểu mối quan hệ và tương tác giữa các phân tử gây bệnh của Mycobacterium tuberculosis và các tế bào miễn dịch của cơ thể chủ.

Sinh viên sẽ được học các kỹ thuật liên quan đến cellular biology technologies, recombinant protein expression and purification, protein interaction analysis approaches, advanced microscopy and molecular microbiology. Trong thời gian học, sinh viên sẽ được đài thọ cho các conference trong và ngoài Australia.

Điều kiện ứng tuyển:

• Sinh viên có bằng đại học hoặc thạc sỹ các ngành có liên quan tới dự án như microbiology, cell biology, và immunology.
• Chứng chỉ tiếng Anh theo yêu cầu của Trường

Thông tin về học bổng:

Applicants must note that selection by The School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB) for participation in this research project, and admission to UQ are two separate processes. The applicant who successfully applies to this PhD research project opportunity will then be required to apply to the UQ Graduate School for admission.

SCMB will assist the successful applicant with their application for admission, but note that a successful application to SCMB for this research project does not guarantee a successful application to the UQ Graduate School for admission. Selected prospective students will receive assistance to apply for University living allowance and tuition fee scholarships.

The 2019 Research Training Program (RTP) living allowance stipend rate is AUD$27,596 (indexed annually), which is tax-free for three years with two possible extensions of up to 6 months each in approved circumstances (conditions apply).
